The Barman & Larder group provides innovative, effective and enduring hospitality solutions to commercial and operational challenges.

We pride ourselves on working in partnership with our clients to ensure that our solutions are workable and sustainable.

 

 

EDDIE MUTO

Eddie is an entrepreneur; an accomplished professional with many years’ experience

in ownership and management of hospitality and retail businesses. Between 1996-99, Eddie tripled the Car Radio in Victoria, taking it from losses to one of the most units in Australia.

 

Prior to this he owned and operated several other successful businesses including Bindi Desserts and Carlins Motor auctions. For almost 15 years, Eddie has been directly involved in developing some of Melbourne’s most popular and enduring eating establishments such as La Camera, Veludo, World and EQ.

 

Operating Safe Venues to go through a training program that includes: Induction Training & Operation Manual; Workplace Hygiene Procedures; Health, Safety and Security Procedures; Applied First Aid; Work In A Socially Diverse Environment; Situations; Safe Food Handling Manual; Product Knowledge.

To ensure a total quality approach that is consistent with each new venue, I develop comprehensive Policies and Procedures for each key area of the business are in place.

These currently include: Food & Food Safety: Head Chef; Quality Assurance: Venue Manager; WH&S Management: HR Manager; Responsible Service of Alcohol: Venue Manager.

 

Where applicable, my registered security include Responsible Service of Alcohol at all times, with more during peak hours. I also employ WH&S Consultants to devise policy. As per the mandates of my Liquor Licensing, I have an approved

 

Safety Management Plan with which I govern my hospitality venues. Business, Operational & Financial Management. My management team has over 75 years’ combined experience in successfully establishing and managing dozens of Melbourne’s most popular venues. My spotless track record over the past two decades

is testament to my capability to run the operations of multiple venues.

Almost all of my previous venues are still running successfully, I have never changed company names, gone into liquidation, declared bankruptcy or in any way failed to create thriving,  venues for the Melbourne community to enjoy.

Through selective grass roots recruiting us ensures you receive motivated, attentive personnel.
